Moreton Steps Into Big Role in Year Two

Though the season is still young, members of the Skyhawks Men’s Basketball team have their work cut out for them. Sitting in 5th place in the North East Division of the Northeast-10 Conference, the Skyhawks hold a record of 2-3 in conference and 3-5 overall. Comparatively, last season through 8 games, the Skyhawks had a 4-4 record, though 2-3 in the NE-10. Even with the loss of standout senior captains Ryan Logan and Jim Walsh, who both graduated in 2017, the Skyhawks seem to be keeping the pace with last year’s team. Filling in in Logan’s absence has been sophomore forward Will Moreton, from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Logan, who averaged almost 18 points per game, was the Skyhawks leading scorer and an all conference selection his final 3 years at Stonehill. Moreton has filled his shoes quite well, averaging 14 points per game through the first six games of his sophomore campaign. “Ryan was such a dominant force… If I’m seen as being similar to Ryan that’s a tremendous comp...

As of 2017, there are close to 800,000 documented dreamers in the United States with countless more undocumented, all of whom are now at risk of losing their DACA status and getting deported. Dreamers are just like normal American c...
